Lynn Clemons grew up with deep southern roots and an imagination that never stayed put. Life has rarely been quiet or simple for her. Born hearing-impaired, she learned to listen differently, not just with her ears, but also with her eyes, her heart, and her intuition. That gift shaped a writing voice that is both perceptive and deeply empathetic, qualities that shine through whether she is crafting poetry, recipes wrapped in folklore, or sweeping fantasy adventures.
Her first published book, Once Upon a Memory, was a heartfelt collection of poems dedicated to her late grandfather, honoring family, loss, love, and the beauty of remembering. Since then, she has expanded her creative work into new realms: The Enchanted Pantry: Recipes from Realms Beyond marries her love of cooking with storytelling, while the Syllabub of Thistlewick Adventures series introduces readers to a whimsical, wise, and wonderfully flawed culinary alchemist who reflects Lynn’s own spirit of resilience and curiosity.
Beyond the page, Lynn wears many hats. She is a woman who has built and rebuilt herself through challenges most would stumble under. When she isn’t writing, she works as a licensed Realtor in Southeast Alabama, helping families and businesses find spaces where their own stories can unfold. She is also building a personal brand that blends writing, travel, healing, and storytelling into a vision that stretches far beyond books with plans for retreats, workshops, and soulful creative offerings.
Her life has been shaped by epilepsy, asthma, and hearing loss: realities that might have slowed her down, but instead fuel her determination to live fully and create work that uplifts others who feel unseen. She believes stories are bridges and ways of connecting people who might never otherwise sit at the same table.
Lynn’s writing reflects the duality of her life: practical and no-nonsense when it must be, yet whimsical and enchanted at heart. Whether she is sharing a recipe for “Goblin Hearthfire Soup” that tastes like home or crafting an adventure where her characters wrestle with trust, belonging, and courage, she invites readers into worlds where comfort and wonder live side by side.
Today, Lynn lives in Alabama with her four children, carrying forward the lessons of resilience, love, and imagination she has gathered along the way. She continues to write with the belief that words have the power to heal, to inspire, and to remind us that even the most ordinary lives are filled with extraordinary magic if we only take the time to look.
At the heart of everything she creates is an open invitation: to come as you are, sit at the table, and discover that even in the messiness of real life, there is magic to be found.
